Premier Beverage presents the Las Olas Wine and Food Festival benefiting the American Lung Association. The event will be two days this year - Friday, May 1st & Saturday, May 2nd. On Friday, May 1st there will be Wine Dinners at Private Homes & Restaurants with celebrity foodnetwork chefs. Saturday, May 2nd will be Wine Seminars at the Riverside Hotel. The sell-out Bonterra Vineyards VIP Reception is from 6:00p.m. to 7:30 pm & the World Famous street festival from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm Premier Beverage Company presented the 2008 Las Olas Wine and Food Festival on May 1st. The SOLD OUT festival took place on Las Olas Boulevard, the most popular street in downtown Fort Lauderdale, known for its fabulous restaurants, trendy shops, and magnificent hotels. The exclusive VIP Reception (a sell out every year) was held in the VIP Lounge on Las Olas Boulevard (located on 8th Ave.) from 5:30p.m. -- 7:00 pm. The VIP Lounge was open the entire festival for VIP Ticket holders only. VIP Patrons received a complimentary Eisch Glass which is a breathable wine glass manufactured in Germany in addition to the VIP Gift Bag which contains a bottle of wine. This is the official video for the 14th Annual Las Olas Wine & Food Festival (LOWFF) presented by Premier Beverage Company benefiting the American Lung Association (ALA) took place on May 1st (Wine Dinners) & May 2nd (Bonterra Vineyards VIP Reception, World Famous Street Festival, Allied Kitchen & Bath and Viking Culinary Range Pavilion). The festival broke all previous attendance records of 2200 wine and food lovers, there were no long lines to wait in plenty of food from the over 64 restaurants and wine flowing freely more than 40 tables. It was the biggest turnout ever and we worked really hard to give the patrons the best wine and food festival money can buy! The restaurants did an unbelievable job showcasing their finest not to mention the over 300 different types of wine donated by Premier Beverage Company. To add to the festive atmosphere, anyone on Las Olas Boulevard could attend for free the Allied Kitchen and Bath Culinary and Viking Range Pavilion live demonstrations by some of the most popular chefs in South Florida and wine makers from around the country. Even though the recent 15th Annual Las Olas Wine & Food Festival (LOWFF) broke all previous attendance records of 2500 wine and food lovers, there were no long lines to wait in... plenty of food from the 67 restaurants and wine flowing freely at 45 wine tables. This year the festival sold out a week in advance making it one of the most desired tickets in town! Another huge success was some of the most popular chefs in South Florida paired with winemakers from around the country at four local restaurants -- Johnny V, Riverside Hotel, Timpano Chophouse and Martini Bar, and Tuscan Grill. Live music by The WEEDLINE, Pan Vibes, & DJ Jason Bogle. The Bombay Sapphire Lounge, Bonterra Vineyards VIP Reception, & Allied Ultra Lounge made this year unforgettable! More than 150 of the Nations most talented Artists will line Las Olas with their professional display booths with mediums such as paintings, sculptures, photography, jewelry, ceramics and much more. The Las Olas Art Fair Part II returns for its 21st anniversary on March 7 and 8, 2009. Admission is free and open to the public. This two-day event brings together an eclectic mix of over 250 of the nations most talented artists who will collectively display over $15 million in artwork. The artists werejuried by an independent panel of expert judges, and hand-selected from hundreds of applicants based on quality and diversity. All of their artwork is original and handmade in America. Howard Alan Events, the festivals promoter, stipulates that all artists are required to be on-site for the entire duration of the show. The artists will line Las Olas Boulevard with their professional display booths, transforming the area into a first-class outdoor art gallery. The public can meet and talk with the artists personally, asking questions about their art and inspirations. The artistic media represented include paintings, sculptures, photos, glass, wood, jewelry, collage, and ceramics. The Las Olas Art Fair makes the arts accessible to a broad audience. Prices range from $25 hand-designed earrings to $20000 metal sculptures. The event appeals to family and friends as a free and fun weekend activity, as well as serious art buyers looking to add to their collections.
